InfraGard Pittsburgh is pleased to present the 2007 Safe Schools Conference. The Safe Schools Conference will address current cyber and physical safety topics and issues affecting K-12 educational institutions, businesses, parents and others that have an impact our nation's youth.

The Masters of Science in Information Security Policy and Management (MSISPM) addresses the growing need for Information Security professionals that possess a balance of analytical skills and business acumen. The program is unique in its emphasis on the policy, management, and technology aspects of information security and risk management. The strength of Carnegie Mellon's MSISPM education is in the real-world knowledge of the faculty and the cutting edge research at the University and CERT®.
The Information Networking Institute (INI) offers professional graduate degree programs in Information Networking, Information Security, and Information Technology that integrate technologies, economics, and policies of secure communication networks. The Information Networking Institute is the educational partner of Carnegie Mellon CyLab.
The Department of Emergency Services provides training, investigation services and emergency management response to disasters, catastrophes and municipal needs.
PRBCHS is a non-profit, public/private partnership dedicated to assisting businesses in Western Pennsylvania prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural disasters, technological disasters, or terror attacks.

Directions and Parking Information
Parking is available in the East Campus Parking Garage, a pay-as-you-park facility. There are entrances at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Beeler Street and also on the south side of the garage closest to the University Center and Gesling Stadium. The south side entrance can be accessed on Forbes Avenue just past the intersection with Morewood Avenue. Parking in this facility for the day is estimated to cost $9.

The target audience for the 2007 InfraGard Pittsburgh Safe Schools Conference includes: K-12 school administrators, educators, and counselors; university instructors and students in the education field; business and industry leaders concerned about their organization and today's youth; homeland security, public safety and law enforcement officials; and last but certainly not least - parents.
